Hank the Pointer

The first member of the quail hunting pack is Hank. He is a 2.5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer and comes from Billings, MT. Hank handsome and graceful feature belie his innate instinct for birds. Hank has a type-A personality and works close to the hunters while making zig-zags through the field to yield himself every opportunity for success.

 

 

Throughout his youth, Hank has hunted lands in Montana and all throughout Arizona – including the Kaibab Plateau. Did you know that there are Blue Grouse up there? Hank is experienced in many types of terrain. Below is a picture of Hank as a pup in the wilds of Montana.
